Sounds like a deal State Farm pulled on me once with an antique fire truck.
They had the size and class in the rate books to qoute an antique rate, but
when it gets to the head office, they shoot it down and cancel your policy.
Go with JC Taylor or Condon and Skelly. They specialize in any historic
vehicle. Size and type does not phase them. You can find their ads in
Hemmings or Military Vehicles Magazine. Allstate will insure antique vehicles
usually only if you have your regular car insurance with them.
