Wow! What a great bunch of folks!! Thank you to all of you who have
responded about my little guy (1944 T-16). What a pleasure to know
like-hearted people. Also, I'm sorry for just getting back with all of you,
but work just seems to eat up all of my time. Plus, I'm getting ready to be
gone to Washington, D.C. all of next week, AND guess who's still working on
tax forms? *sigh* I know; we all have busy lives.

Below are some responses to the great e-mails I've received.

JOHN SEIDTS
   - Thanks for the offer to place the vehicle on your for sale site, as
well as the info concerning MV Magazine and Supply Line. I will give these
careful consideration upon my return from DC.

STEVE (the ISLANDER?)
   - Thanks for the pricing advice!

GEOFF WINNINGTON-BALL
   - What a neat WWII web site. The pictures explain the differences I have
seen through the years on the different types of "Universal Carriers". And
thanks for the offer to place mine on your site, too, though mine is not
restored nicely like those museum pieces. Definitely is the same animal
though, minus some armor.

RALPH HOPKINS
   - I appreciate your interest, and will be posting pictures on the web for
your review. I will send another e-mail later today with those pic links.

RICHARD GRACE
   - Thanks as well for your interest. I will be posting pictures on the web
for your review, and will send another e-mail later today with those pic
links. I haven't decided a price, because I don't know what is fair. I will
be away for a week, but we can certainly talk when I return next Friday.

MIKE SOMMER
   - What an excellent idea! Will take that under advisement. Also, I have
thought a lot about keeping him until I could one day own a place and drive
him and restore him. So far, I've thought that for ten years. Likely, it
will be at least another ten years before it could happen. And I don't know
if my aging parents will actually keep the family farm that long, where he
stays sleeping except the twice a year I go out there.

TIM BELL
   - Thanks for the encouragement from across the pond! I bet shipping it to
the UK would be kinda pricey!

SKIP WOODS
   - Thanks for the addresses, as I did not have those. I may take you up on
the order form offer, if one of the fellas here doesn't have a nice home for
him.

WILLIAM BENSON
   - Thanks for the offer to post up some pics of him on your site, and
reviewing the wisdom of keeping him. You and Mike Sommer had the same
thoughts.

So, in summary (1) it sounds like a couple of you may have a home for my
beast. (2) I want him to go for the fair price, but don't honestly know what
that is, and (3) the only way to determine the fair price is to get some
pictures up, which I will post to my web site, and will subsequently drop a
note to the list with the links! Thanks again, and watch for the pictures
e-mail! Have anice weekend everyone!

Sincerely,
Andrew Criswell
