I have an item - boxed - called a periscope "handle" - this is a flat
bottomed "u" shaped steel bracket where the bottom is encapsulated in
bakelite.
My Daimler Armoured Car Workshop manual shows this attached to the
periscope.
I guess I could be persuaded to part with it if someone needs one.... the
handle... not the manual
