Hi Bill,

I bought a DeVilbiss 5HP upright from Home Depot. It delivers 11.5 cfm at 45 psi and about 7 or 8 cfm at 100 psi. It cost me about $225 and has worked well with air tools and the usual paint sprayers, etc. I have not tried sandblasting yet but like Tom mentioned, Harbor Freight has some nice and inexpensive sandblast pots.

good luck,

Okay, without the sandblasting, a 5HP 20 gallon?

..and general household use...

Thanks again...

Bill
