Last weekend was the first Military Rendevous 2000 at Covington, Ohio. We
took an M-706 and two VW Iltises. It was a great event! The organization,
layout, location, facilities, food, etc. were ALL just GREAT! Kenny Adams and
his gang did a fantastic job. This could grow very quickly into a premier
event. The reenactor's area was really cool, as was the MASH camp. Having
celebs like "Bunnie" and "Klinger" added to the fun. There were some great
displays and some really interesting vehicles; The Lima Tank Plant's Sherman,
a MAN transports, lots of M-35's, M-37's, etc. We're already looking forward
to next year!
