Thanks all very much for your input. It's appreciated much.

Upon many of your suggestions, I again called the N.Y.S. Police. This
time I spoke to a Sgt. in charge of "DOT Regulation Enforcement".

He stuck to 96" maximum. Even got out the book and read it to me. (He
allowed 102" only with folding mirrors).

As far as my observation about M35A2's goes... I again, pulled out Dept.
of the Army TC 9-9 "Ordnance Material Handbook" September 1993, page
1-21, "M35A1, M35A2", "width 106 inches". That's what it says.

Is this book incorrect?
