You are absolutely correct. There are two many that want a free ride. Sometimes they use excuses about what the weaknesses of the origanization. I have also seen this with gun owners that don't belong to the NRA.
The bottom line is they are the only game in town and we can either get organized with them or passively join the enemy of our hobby.
A crude expession of the 70s says it all.
