It won't reappear this year. You can take that one to the bank.
It may come back in different forms in future years, but vigilance is the
price of freedom. Part of the reason why politicians have gotten away with
so much over the years is because WE let them. We didn't watch, we didn't
complain, we were never outraged.
The Internet allows all of us to watch more, discover the crap, and mobilize
outraged citizens in protest.
