Hi Jonathon, thanks for the reply. I'm writing from
work so I can't visualize the truck at this time, but
the turbo has a fuel line entering it (low pressure,
about 5/16th) and a smaller line exiting it which is
semi-clear plastic. This small (about 1/8") line then
goes (as I can recall) to be tee'd into the injector
return lines. If I remember correctly the 5/16" feed
line originates at the injector pump. Anyway, my
injector return lines appear to have air in them and I
was wondering what type of pickup the in fuel pump
has. The tank is about 1/2 full; I was wondering if
the pickup is cracked and sucking air. (guess I'll
have to pull it) In the meantime I'm going to replace
the filters and inspect them. The truck actually
seems to run better than it ever did at it's best; it
also produces more black smoke which indicates more
fuel or less air and the air filter is clean. How can
you tell on your truck that the compensator was
bypassed; and could I temporarily bypass mine to see
if that is the problem? Thanks, Rick
