Rick. I own a gun shop and IM a Gunsmith. Question 1. Why doe's it have to
be Demilled? For the cost of a good dummy receiver and a GI parts kit you
can get a firing M1 Carbine. Question 2. There are lots of good Parts kits
out there. There is a company that makes a Steel receiver that is 80%
completed and the parts should bolt up to it. Get a new Shotgun News
Magazine and look thru it. Lots of good companies selling parts kits, but
you are looking at about $350.00 for a kit, and you can still find complete
working M1 Carbines for about that price. If you have any questions feel
free to contact me. Mark M-886
