Jonathon,

Actually, that was not a Jeep outline. It is the front of a 3/4 ton Dodge. I have a solid brass belt buckle that I wear daily that is the same thing. Except is placed in front of a side view of a non directional tire. John Anderson, here in Fresno did the casting for those buckles a little more than 20 years ago. A version of that casting, without the hook and loop, was placed on trophies that were handed out at the MVCC convention in San Pedro in 1981.

Hi folks,

I was just scanning channels while eating dinner and stumbled on some kiddie
move called "Sidekicks". This kid was sitting in a class room wearing an ex
army shirt with an embroidered patch on his left side above the pocket. I
had to watch a bit more of the movie to verify this but it was one of the
old MVCC patches with the frontal jeep outline within the triangle with the
"MVCC" under it. It was a 'subdued' version not the color one I have laying
around here somewhere. Hmmmm, how did that happen??? Inquiring minds want
to know.....
