Mutt wheel seal notes....

Hi All,

As I sit here with refreshments, just having replaced the oil seals and
bearings in my passenger front wheel station, I can offer the following
nugget of advice.

The TM blithely refers to the "improvised tool" for replacing bearing cups
and implanting oil seals....

Funny how the TM always pictures a beautifully machined drift when we are
struggling with sweet FA

Well, the best "improvised tool" for the inner oil seal is one of the
bearing cups that you have just removed and very careful work with a 3/16
drift did the larger one as well as the cups.

If you are using the upgrade seal kit, make sure you have access to a large
vise and aluminium (note spelling here chaps......) vise-jaws for pressing
on the wear sleeves.

IWK
Gavin
