Well it all depends on who's asking actually. The cradle assy to top the
M31C jeep MG post mount was packed into a duffle coming home several years
ago and the polite lady at Heathrow asked that the bag be opened of course.
She looks into the cosmolined depths of the package and calls over a male
inspector and asks him "what's that?". He looks and laughs, introduces
himself as ex-British Army, and wishes well on carrying that awkward heavy
thing between cars/planes/terminals with everything else. This was
Aer-Lingus but the customs folks were British of course.

Dpends again; US end was actually easier. Possibly because of the thorough
job on the Heathrow end but definitely helps to be a US citizen.

Depends on how many pieces of luggage and how big you want the pieces I
suppose....
