Dear David,

I think all the items you have listed are desirable in a convention. The
following thoughts came to mind for making the exhibit/vendor areas better.

1. Have lots of trash cans with hefty liners in them and signs up to
encourage people to "PITCH IN".

2. Have enough staff to change the liners as soon as the cans get full.

3. Have plenty of portable toilets - rely on the vendors to recommend
the number you need and then add 10% !

4. Reach out to other groups in the area who have a natural affinity
with the hobby - NG Units can send vehicles w/recruiters; Navan Reserves
could send rubber boat displays; radio club could come and provide commo
demos - cross fertilize with military radios on HMV's, etc. The more you
can think of including other groups from the community in your
activities, the more everyone will get out of the weekend! People will
start telling you about piles of rust slumbering in local fields---new projects!

Finally, don't conflict with Beltring!

Good Luck With Your Convention!
