 Hey you current USA/USAR/ArmyNG troops.

PS Issue 537 Aug 1997 pg 23, makes reference to a new rust inhibitor
compound "applied every 8 months or so to the underside and inside areas of
your vehicle to slow the spread of new rust and even clean up old rusted
areas. ... It's petroleum-based and contains no silicones,solvents or CFC's
or anything else classified as hazardous materials. It works by displacing
moisture which holds dirt, salts and pollutants. It takes about 2 gallons to
treat a HMMWV or up to 3 gallons for a 2 1/2-ton or 5-ton truck."
Comes in 16 ounce bottles, 5-gal can or 55-gal drum and is applied by
spray applicator.
NSN 8030-01-414-7430 gets you a drum of the stuff.
Does anyone have a lead on the commercial name of the stuff or its
commercial equivalent or should we continue cutting 30 wt engine oil 3-to-1
with kerosene and spraying the frame and nooks and crannies?
