My '84 M1009 has started getting hard to steer. It feels like the power
steering is surging or like it is going on and off.. The fluid level is good
in the PS pump and it is not leaking. At higher RPM's it turns fine. It's
the most difficult while at idle coasting around a parking lot looking for a
space.
Is it time for a new power steering pump or should I be looking at other
causes? Thanks.
