Howdy Emmett,

I would use a good epoxy based machineable metal filler as the epoxy
encapsulation of the powdered metal will forestall dissimilar metal
corrosion. Cathodic or dissimilar metals corrosion is really only a
problem in damp environments where the surfaces are left uncoated.
Since I assume that you will paint the repaired areas you should not
encounter a problem.
