Kerry,

The local Army Reserve shop uses a product called Plasti-Dip to coat the "J"
hooks that are used to hold the batteries in place. No reason that it
wouldn't work for the box, too. It's basically liquid vinyl that can be
dipped or painted on. Made by a company called PDI in Circle Pines, MN and
available in most hardware stores.

Subject: [MV] Battery Box Lining

Any good ideas what to use to coat the inside of a
steel battery box? I sandblasted and reprimed box, and
repainted exterior OD - I was going to use automotive undercoating spray
on interior as battery-acid rust-inhibitor, but that stuff is a mess, it
never dries.
Appreciate any suggestions, list.
(you can tell winter is getting old in Northern Vermont)
