Sandblasting shock

Hi all,
My friends were using my sandblaster to remove paint from the doors of their
M715, which were lying on sawhorses. When they touched the doors, they got
quite a static shock. Is there anyway to ground the sandblaster or hose to
prevent this? This didn't happen to me, just luck I guess, or I would have
warned them.
