Thanks Rick for providing these links.

I have written all of my reps, as well as Senator Levin. Nice, polite,
and respectful emails to all.

After looking at the "Significant Military Equipment" definitions (boy,
aren't those broad!), I see that there are SPECIFIC statements in there
about amphibious vehicles. This got me to thinking about all the DUKW
tour companies that are out there. It would appear that if this
legislation were to pass, all of these tour groups would have to chop up
their stuff. I also suppose museums would be affected?
