Amnon,
je (Jonathon) provided you with some very good advice. Though you stated
that the brake shoes were dry, was the backing plate dry? If the inner wheel
bearing seal leaks, the oil runs down the plate and out onto the wheel and
tire
and will eventually soak the brake shoes. Maybe it didn't leak long enough
to get to the drum and shoes.
