The M1008 gets about 12mpg, if you drive harder you will get less mileage,
if you drive slower you get better mileage. It tows like any single tired
three quarter or one ton 4x4 truck, if you use a fifth wheel trailer you can
haul more. The 456 gears and turbo 400 transmission give it plenty of
pulling power. I have towed about 15,000 lbs with one, the trailer is a
tandem axle fifth wheel drop tail with electric brakes.
