Joe,
Government Liquidation's Terms and Conditions has two interesting statements
that I wonder if you have any experience with? I have copied this directly
from the GL website:
"In any event, End-Use-Certificates that are submitted and not approved for
property removal in three-months will have the sale "voided" and Government
Liquidation shall have the right to dispose of the property at its choice and
discretion. Additionally if a submitted End-Use-Certificate is denied
clearance for authorization to release the property, Government Liquidation
reserves the right to retain the 25% deposit as liquidated damages."
I must wonder if "denied clearance" is the same as "not approved" from
GL's standpoint? Since G-L is not legally obligated to auction its wares,
but can negotiate sales, I suppose someone could approach them to buy all the
EUC denied items as a negotiated deal.
Has anyone had their 25% deposit refunded because the 3 months have
passed without EUC approval? Has anyone on the list forfeited the 25%
deposit due to lack of EUC approval?
Thanks,
David Doyle
