Well, you know, you and others pose an interesting question....
The batteries setting around here are all marked 6TL. The manuals I have
from the 50's all call for 6TN size. When buying batteries my conversations
have gone like this:
Me: "I need two 6TN batteries."
Counter man: "for what?"
Me: "Army 6x6."
Counter man shouting to warehouseman: "Bubba, bring me a pair of them big
army batteries."
Wonder what the difference REALLY is?
