I have found out a bit more about M151-series jeeps deployed by the Canadians:

- Egypt, Suez Crisis (UNEF I): in 1964 the 8th Hussars (Princess Louise's)
took a bunch of brand new M151/M151A1 with them for their UNEF rotation.
They were painted white and armed with .30 Browning MGs. Note: Canada never
bought the M151/M151A1, so these must have come from another source (United
States, United Nations even?)

- Vietnam: US-supplied M151s were used by the Canadian contingent of the
ICCS in 1973. Olive drab with Canadian Maple Leafs on windscreen.

- Egypt (UNEF II): the Canadian contingent to UNEF II in the mid to late
'70s had at least one "74 pattern" jeep.

- Cyprus (UNFICYP): M151A2 introduced in 1976? Painted white with blue UN
markings?

Anyone got any more info and/or pictures of the M151-series jeep in use by
the Canadians?
