I almost bought a Unimog, but my buddies warned me about costly repairs as it is a mercedes, and one fellow said the engine's hard to reach to work on.

Unfortunately I never got to take a look at one up close before I found the M35, I imagine they're pretty rugged. How are they to maintain? Are the special geared axles rugged?
