Re: [MV] Idea - Military Only Zone

Well said,

I think there should be a clear distinction made between Living History
shows and MV shows. The former should be ultra strict according to what
the show is trying to "simulate". The latter should be open to any and
all military vehicles, restored or unrestored (which I understand is
another problem area).

I think where Jack hit the nail on the head is that it is better to have
all the MVs in one spot, all the cooky stuff people tote along with them
in another. As he said, a MV show shouldn't look like a KOA on weekend
where a couple of weirdos with big green things decided to show up :-)

I also think it should be a big no-no to have anything "big" and/or
"distracting in the area of MVs. When I go to a show it is to stand and
look at green stuff, not someone's SUV or a 28' mobile home. I think it
stinks when these things are smack dab in the middle of the MVs. It
really detracts from the show and there is no reason for it. Most shows
are small enough that the distractions can be off to one side and still
be readily accessable by people with vehicles on display.

Just my two bits worth :-)
