A friend and I have been going over charts for bands, and regs and such and
so far have not found a basis for not being able to. The military radios
are wider, no argument there but that does not mean illegal. The civilian
sets would have a lot of trouble talking to a military set, but a prc-6 with
the right crystals or an rt-524 or whatever should work just fine.

6 meter band runs from 50 to 54

We are still looking, to remove doubt and get that warm fuzzy we all like to
have. Will let you know as soon as we are sure.
