I do use a PRC-77 and/or a Racal TRA-976 for walking about, and in the M35, an RT-246 when parked. All on 6 Meters Ham band. There's only a couple people I run into on 6M at shows.

Some unlicensed people slip into the 49.67 to 49.99 MHz band used by cordless phones ot 65.75, which is TV CH. 3 audio usually used by VCRs. no-no..

I aso use a PRC-127 on 2M.

The GRC-106 I am not licensed for.

I strongly advocate the use of MIL radios on ham radio bands and the licensing of more enthusiasts. Crossing hobbies always strengthens both.
