I made my own. Piece of pipe with 3/8 plate welded to the end so I could
smack it straight on with a hammer. Welded a garage door handle to it to
make it easier to hold, whole thing cost about $6.

Subject: [MV] Looking for special tool for deuce seal

Hi List,

Does anyone know of the NSN or P/N for the special tool that would be used
for installing the rear axle inner seal? I've been told I can make
something up that would work, but I was interested in what the govt.
actually called for to do the job. Also, I see where the 20 series manual
shows the job for the front axle, but I can't find it for the rear axle -
is there a different manual I should look in?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Harold
