shelf life?? i just (year ago) got a vinyl one for my m-656 from naglich
and though i suspect it is at least 20 years old it is like new. the
canvas one on my m-35 was old when i got it 8 years ago and it is still
almost like new...........of course it has been cared for by sealing it
once about 5 years ago with the govt canvas waterproofing.
