Ok, that got me to thinking. First off, what's an easy 8? Second, I have
noticed one of the Sherman's in the pictures has a different "bogie" wheel
set up (pardon my English, I get names mixed up and I don't know what I am
talking about).

Most of the Sherman's I have seen, pictures at least, have the wheels set up
with a big bulging support between and above each set of wheels. One in the
pictures on the link has no such support. The reason this interest me is
because they have one with out the supports at Ft Jackson now. I didn't
think it was a Sherman at first and they don't have a plaque identifying it
put up yet. It's the only Sherman I have got close enough to touch and I
was really surprised at how big it is. They have a Stuart at Ft Jackson I
have admired for years and it is so small, I didn't expect the Sherman to be
3 times as big.

Anyway if one of you experts can fill us in that would be great. I have
several books and have browsed the web a great deal and have never seen one
of these odd Sherman's. They look more modern, so I assume they are late
production.
