An interesting series in the "Colonies" , as they have been referred to here
on the list, is the SciFi Channels "Stargate SG-1" which is filmed in
Canada.
    They have lots of HMMWV's, Goats, M35's, V100 (?) Commando, M151s and
other colonial equipment. In present day episodes they are a little loose in
mixing HMMWVs and M151s together in the same scene. In one of the episodes,
'1969', they have an armory scene where there is not a HMMWV in sight, just
period correct M151s and Deuces, albeit that they are all in 4 color and 3
color camo schemes, and one of the 69 era USAF M35A2's has a vinyl, flaps
attached, cargo top. (side note, if you happen to run across an abandoned
Stargate, just get a couple of your buddies together who have M35A2's, run
some jumper cables from them { at least 2 M35A2s needed } and Viola, you can
power up that weird ring for a cheap one way vacation, with no time
consuming lines at the airport, though it might take a while to get a
combination that works. Firearms optional, class 3 preferred, no limit on
carry on's. Hell, take your trucks with you, but better include a tanker or
two.)

Don't forget to send postcards, though postage will probably be a bitch
and a mite slow.....
