If by scout cars you mean the White M3A1, they are briefly covered in Squadron/Signal 2037, U S armored cars in Action.
I have discussed writing books with Squadron, however, with very few exceptions (DUKW) they are not interested in publishing books on soft-skinned vehicles, which is no doubt why a Jeep book is absent from their line.
