Hi All:
My wife, the sainted Deb, saw a 5 vehicle convoy Sat AM (0645) going south
on Interstate 495 in Tewksbury, Massachusetts ...." an old jeep and 4 older
canvas covered vehicles with white
stars... smaller than Steve's trucks ( Dr. Deuce's CCKWs ) but bigger than
Hank's M37".... I've checked with WWII HMV movement control for NE MA and SE
NH (Dr. Deuce) with no joy. Any ideas who they may be and where they where
headed?
BTW....I was terribly impressed that:
A) She noticed them
B) She told me
C) She used a PROPER designation
D) She recognizes the differences between my M35 and Dr. Deuce's CCKWs
E) She knows the difference between OD green canvas and vinyl coverings
On the down side, this is evidence that her apparent cavalier attitude
towards things OD is a sham and indicates I can't leave boxes containing new
purchases paid for by PMO's in plain sight. Already seem to have broken
through the credit card bill indignity cycle. When queried the other day by
TSD ( The Sainted Deb) about a $238 charge to AB Linn, was satisfied by the
answer "...parts for the M715 in the garage" with no further grilling or
comments about OD POS eating up family funding. This from a lady who once
asked ( I assume rhetorically since the answer was obvious) why I was
getting another MV while she still had a plywood subfloor as THE floor in
the kitchen after 10 years.
