howdy Timothy,

I got a set of repro factory dealer manuals
from Binder Books, for my '71 IHC1600.

They were about 120 bucks, but that's for
3,000 pgs! Probably the best vehicular
manuals I've seen so far. Very very
thorough discussion of all braking systems
used in IHC trucks over a 20 year period.

Don't have the URL handy for Binder, but
you could start here, and find the home page
and phone number.....seemed like decent
folks to deal with.

I don't know the name of the system on my
1600, but it's vacuum over hydraulic, and
has a large vac. tank on the frame under
the driver's side of the cab. I can take a
look under the hood, if that's any help.

Richard
