D-Day Stories on BBC.com Picture query

Excellent stories - but check out the picture on the Max Moffat story - I
dont think thats a Normandy picture - I cant figure pout where on Omaha
beach such a bay could be? Be interested in what you guys say.
Also a bit curious the AP claim the copyright on all the pics - arent they
