Hi all again.

Marc, Thanks for the reference. I ordered a new seal from Robert at Winer
Motors. you are right, the cost was $30 vs. the $7 from Memphis. I needed
to sit down ;-)

I am waiting on the shipment.

Now, can anyone tell me if the Timken 392 bearing has the same "thickness"
as the original equipment bearing? I'm thinking that if the inner race
thickness is a little bigger, that would not let the seal seat as tightly
against the hub race edge.

Is this making any sense?

Greg (Vista, CA): Did you ever get a answer on what was too hot for that
hub of yours?

Thnx.

-K
