RE: [MV] Turn signal faint

Well, I cleaned metal around holes that bolts go through to mount rear
brake light assembly and make ground connection. Still same problem.
The regular tail light works fine, it's just the brake & turn signal
light that doesn't get bright, just a dull glow. I just don't get it.
I thought I had it working for about 2 minutes, enough time to close it
up again, but when I tried turn signal, it stopped working right. The
bulb holders inside the assembly are clean and bright. Tried other
bulbs to no avail. Anyone else have any ideas??

My Deuce had the same problem. Unscrewing the ground (same as the
mounting bolts if I remember correct) at the back of the housing,
cleaning the lock washer, bolt and housing surface where the lock washer
goes in, cleared the problem. You may be able to just loosen and
retighten the bolts and thing will work, it did for me, but decided to
do it right.
