That reminds me of a question I always meant to ask. I've seen the VRM-1,
the MK-1978A/VRC and the PRM-34 all mentioned as "the testers for the VRC-12
family radios", yet...did one or all replace the others as the decades
progressed, or are they all different sets for testing different aspects of
the 524's operations?
