For sanitizing outbuildings, a former neighbor suggested a solution of
paraformaldehyde (RV holding tank chemical) and water. Personally,
I've had good success with Lysol concentrated =liquid= disinfectant
(not the aerosol) in water. In addition to sanitizing, it provides a
less unpleasant chemical "cover" scent that lingers for weeks.
I suggest lightly scrubbing the affected areas of the MV and hosing
down with water to flush out any solids. Apply the decon solution
with either a handheld spray bottle or a garden hose spray bottle
attachment. Let things soak for a while before rinsing (if at all).
The usual caveats apply: Read the labels, use appropriate PPE and
check surfaces for compatibility. (Lysol will attack some plastics.)
