Hey Bruce,
I used a large screwdriver to lock the flexplate against the block. Then I
used a breaker bar and socket to remove the bolt. I used a $20 puller from
Napa to pull and reinstall the balancer. It works great.

Subject: [MV] CUCV Removing Dynamic Balancer

Hi Group,
I tried to remove the &**^%%&* Bolt that holds the dynamic Balancer
on to the
crank shaft with my 1/2 inch impact wrench. But no go. It just doesn't
have enough power.

What is the best way to lock the crank shaft so I can put a breaker
bar on the bolt?

Thanks in advance for any help!
