Spit wheels are not the only wheels that will kill you while airing them up.
I man was killed here in TN a few years ago when an Aluminum wheel blow up
while mounting a tire. I also remember a man who lost his arm when a tire
blow off of a standard car wheel while airing it up.. While split wheels
are more dangerous, don't under estimate a one piece wheel either. It may be
rare, but it does happen
