Man -- are you confusing..
The CUCV starter is 24 volt..the alternators put out 12 volts each..the glow
plugs are 12 volt plugs..
Where did you get your info from ???
The batteries are both 12 volt batteries --and - of course, you use a 12
volt battery charger..to charge each one...
