Bjorn,

I would recommend against driving with the crane
stretched out on the deck. I believe that the constant
back and forth wiggling, with that huge lever-arm,
will not be good for the swing mechanism.

I suppose one could "lock" the boom in place with
chain and binders; but I for sure would not leave it
stretched out, and free.
