Carbon tet is quite toxic as the previous post noted. It is also significantly
denser (1.5x) than water, so the extinguisher will feel 'heavy'

There is another hazard that should be noted. Carbon tet can react with oxygen
to form Phosgene, a WAR GAS !!

So, don't spray the contents on a hot manifold or something. Hot metal may
catalyze the reaction.
