Also, the repro mil paint code 24087 that is sold by several vendors
does not exactly match the 24084 color that was on the M151's when they
were built and delivered to the govt. 24084 is very similar to the
24087. Very slight difference that you can notice when the 2 paints are
still recently applied. Also 24084 IS still available from Hentzen and
is still available in gallons or quarts through the US Army supply
system.

Your mixing two things here, the ability to mix the color to a formula
and the ability to mix the color to a sample?

That's right. There are 2 ways to do this to get the final result.

Problem with Gillespie 24087 is that it does not match the 24087 from
Aervoe or S/W, the latter two of which I cannot tell apart.
