Sonny, "Deuce and a half" is the common slang for the 2.5 ton. Over time
it was just shortened to "Deuce," as it is common practice for
everything in the American language, including peoples names, etc. to
be shortened. (notice I did not say "English language) We're just plain
lazy when we speak.
