Hey all,

I am back from Ecuador, made it back to the states in one piece, have had a
killer cold, and am just now going over my M1009 as it has ben sitting for 3
months, but run at least once a month by my brother. The problem I am having
is the left alternator, or the passenger side alternator, I think was
mounted incorrectly, as it has broken 1 upper and 2 lower brackets. Can
someone do me a huge favor, and take a picture of how the lower bracket is
mounted. It looks like the lower bracket is sitting too far out, but IIRC
last time I took it apart the bracket wouldnt sit flush because of how the
water pump or a part of the block was cast. So if someone can take a picture
of how that is mounted, and what bolts are used to hold the lower bracket,
ie, just a long bolt, or a bolt with a nut halfway (rough explanation, not
sure of the real name), kind of like a stud. If anyone had had thiers apart
and can tell me that would be awesome, before this thing rattles itself
apart. Also, if someone could do the same for the upper while they are at
it, bolts used, etc. The alternator has a good more amount of vibration than
the drivers side one. Drivers side doesn't vibrate at all, just normal
engine diesel vibration, but the passenger side is going nuts.

Thanks so much!
