I had a thought on this when I went to start my snowblower the other day to
move it... been sitting since about april, and the gas is real bad. But
that has a black tank that sat in the sun.... wonder if that 'hurried' it
up. Usually I don't see gas turn that fast.

I've read that deterioration starts at 60 days. I've had stuff sit for a
year
and still run on that swill. I've also had generators foul up after sitting
just 6 months. I don't know if it's the gas makeup, temperature, specific
types
of carbs ar what. I do know that I now use Stabil in all of my small gas
engines.
